Katherine Griffin is a sophomore pre-teaching major at UConn, hoping to go into Elementary and Deaf Education. She will be applying for the Neag School of Education this winter. Katherine is particularly interested in bimodal bilingualism in the school setting. When she isn’t on campus, Katherine works as a paraprofessional, aiding both typical and atypical student populations. She is a Research Assistant for the SLaM project with Dr. Marie Coppola and Jessica Contreras studying language acquisition and its affect on number cognition. Katherine also enjoys theatre, hula hooping and playing with her cat, Samantha!
